The Modern Woman’s Anthology

Ikon produced a poster exhibition to coincide with the launch of The Modern Woman’s Anthology at Sydney’s Customs House in June, 2010. The challenge was to create a visual representation of the book’s richly diverse and personal content while showcasing a selection of artworks, entries from the book’s cover competition. Each poster features an image coupled with an evocative contributor’s quote to achieve a layering of individual perspectives. Bold colour and whimsical typography were used to create a striking effect and a visual thread that connects the exhibition.
